When I started campaigning, I thought it was just about sticking leaflets through doors. It’s not. It’s about meeting people.

In fact meeting people is the best part of campaigning without doubt. You meet hundreds if not, thousands of fantastic people, all living in the ward. Not all of them will vote for you, but my experience has been really positive. Everybody feels that the politicians have let them down, but when you’re campaigning with ? REFORM, people seem willing to re-engage.

Not all of the people you meet when campaigning will vote for you! in fact, it is often the case the people say I’ve always voted for labour, but I’ve always voted Conservative, but things are changing.

More often on the doors at the moment, I hear “I’ve often voted for labour, but I will never vote for them again” or “I’ve always voted Conservative, but they had 14 years to make a change, and they didn’t”.

I WOULD PERSONALLY LIKE TO THANK EACH AND EVERY PERSON THAT I MET DURING CAMPAIGNING.

NOT ONCE WAS ANYONE HOSTILE TOWARDS ME.

NOT ONCE DID I GET ABUSE.

I JUST MET VERY MANY REALLY INTERESTING LOVELY PEOPLE AND FOR THAT OPPORTUNITY, I WOULD LIKE TO SAY A HUGE THANKYOU.

Similarly, I cannot say thank you enough for the courtesy on the doorstep.

Campaigning for REFORM is campaigning for a new, breathe breath of life in politics… It’s campaigning for change, true change, reforming our institutions, reforming our politics, and engaging, once again, with people on the doors, engaging with the public.
